Mary Earle is a writer, poet, retreat leader and Episcopal priest.
In retirement, her ministry focuses on practices for the spiritual life in sickness and in health, spiritual direction, contemplative prayer, and opportunities for ecumenical and interfaith retreats.
She and her husband, Doug, live in San Antonio with their three border collies, Maggie, Graford and Fiona, their six-toed cat, Cuthbert, and a “grand-cat” named Leftovers. They enjoy raising organic vegetables. A gardener for many years, Mary is learning about sustainable agriculture.

“With uncanny grace and deftness, Earle has woven the soul-wrenching beauty of Celtic spirituality and the joy of contextual understanding into a seamless and deeply satisfying whole. The result, like the biblical Psalter itself, is a loving companion for all the times and seasons of our lives.” Phyllis Tickle, Compiler, The Divine Hours
